How to use Google Earth - Adding information from the Web:
Basic steps:
- 1) Download Google Earth for free at earth.google.com and install. Nothing special or difficult about this part.
- 2) Spend a few hours cruising around your favorite places on the planet, or the moon, or in the night sky. Don't forget to eat, sleep, etc.

Create a Network Link: US weather info:
- In the main menu click Add / Network Link.
- Select the Network Link at the bottom of the menu and you see the Properties dialog box below:
- Type the title of your choice in the Name field and copy and paste the link provided on our page in the Link field:
http://disasterpost.net/US_weather_netlink.kmz - Make the big decision about refreshing the link. You can right-click your mouse over the link and refresh whenever you want, or you can set a time period to automatically refresh.
- Be sure to save the layer to My Places (right click to save) or you will lose the layer when you shut down Google Earth.
- That's it. Close and set up the next Network Link until you are a master Linker.
