Google Earth is a wonderful 3D application to view map information. However, it is software, not Web pages, and must be learned like any other software. Also use Google Earth's help and discussion forums. This site does not provide software support. We provide files that will link you to agencies' and individual's information during disasters. It is up to you to learn the software and learn how to interpret the information.
Google Earth layers for fire mapping:
- We provide all relevant overlay files on the incident page.
- STEP #1 - Add the overlay files for the incident to your map.
- STEP #2 - Add the local region's overlay files.
- STEP #3 - Add the useful U.S. overlays such as weather.
